Echoes play and thoughts resound
in shadowed love embrace
feelings deep now show release
to burn without a trace

stars to shoot as dreams are cast
a moment on the eye rely
as hopes are streaking past
Clouds of love are shifting
drifting slow as storms do rage

Dreams descend on burning skin
as time does tick to pass
here in midnight's dusky hue
where hearts and thoughts amass
Temptation now is burning
yearning hot with love in place
touch of sin on sultry skin

Hips alive and furied
rise to fall in rhythm's race
searing hot in sheets we're caught
to twist and turn embrace
In heat go fingers searching
reaching out and burning still
to slide into the morning

Destinies entwined designed
by fate the cards were dealt
wanting for what hearts implore
that feeling never felt
Stories not of our own choosing
destinies dare not relate
when hearts resign refusing
losing hold on what awaits
Time does mold the future
colors paint a vivid scene
moments lost adrift and tossed
on oceans in between
Yet horizons hold our purpose
clouds and sorrows dissipate
patient still as heart's reveal

Gift of God's creation
