Shadowed veil did heart conceal
here once now all but gone
darkness came to serenade
the deep and vast alone
Tucked away for brighter days
as fast came sands a-shifting
until the veil like fog reveal
the secrets of it's lifting
Into darkness' depths did shine
the starried sleep of dreams
stark and bright that cleansing light
does destiny redeem
Shadowed veil dispersed dispelled
in sunlit meadows play
