Amidst the embered sheets of glass
a bridge did find it's way
quick to cross as dreams are tossed
for sorrow walks this way

Creatures cast in thoughts react

frail and thin to toothy grin

Aloft, adrift no shore to kiss
for a time no echoes swirl
