and eden's burning down
lightning flashes all about
as midnight thunders 'round
Nothing for the ears to hear
but silence on repeat
racing thoughts and furies caught
conveyed with every beat
Sultry taste of her embrace
the air alive with fire
all around the here and now
to bow at heart's desire
Bathing in the depths of love
as moonlight softly plays
across her burning skin to send
my hands upon their way
Reaching for salvation
loving waters fall like rain
salvation to her calling
