A kiss of fire and burning
to her flame forever bound
searing light as lips invite
and savor favors found
Touch of red in heaven's stead
behind those fiery gates
words of love to speak thereof
with passion resonates
Burning now we both allow
intensity define
that single breath 'tween life and death
and tasting what is mine
Flames are spent in warm lament
