Forest For The Trees

Beauty found in kneeling down
for hallowed halls are these
all in plot though some see not
just forest for the trees
Wrapped adorned like seasons worn
so warm these colors paint
of hope and love and stars above
unto ourselves acquaint
Come to dance in happenstance
not so for all we do
tilt to whirl as things unfurl
yet fit this grander view
Beauty found in kneeling down
astounded by that grace
that in this vast infinity
I'm right here in my place
Eyes alive and chasing
racing heart to slow its pace
and drink of all its glory
just a moment to embrace
Breathe as time is flowing
waters still a second please
