Thoughts conflict and rolling thick
to cover hearts like fog
with morning giving way to day
this storied epilogue
Drifting through the mountains
cross the valleys of the mind
the past a veil we story tell

Sun to set with crimson fading
serenading painted sky
heart divine and often shines
like sparkles in her eye

Sands remind of time defined 

as sunny shores enthrall

want all that they can take

Wintered hearts enraptured
captured glory, rise and fall
bringing life to jaded night

To truly only wake in dreams
as stars do streak and fall
the cool of night on skin invite
the heat beneath it all
Drift, careen,  the in between
asleep, yet full aware
sliding heaven down and deep
while coming for up air

breathing shallow hallowed grace
lightning in the lungs becomes
accustomed to the pace
Faster still a glance reveals
she dreams with starry eyes
lustful pride as wills collide
and paint onto the skies

Beauty found in kneeling down
for hallowed halls are these
all in plot though some see not
just forest for the trees

so warm these colors paint

unto ourselves acquaint

tilt to whirl as things unfurl
yet fit this grander view
