Heat That Burns Like Fire

Thoughts recur to blend and blur
as heat comes rushing in
crimson cheeks she softly speaks
upon my heart again
Days confound the questioned how
to flames that can't be quenched
turning now in fevered sleep
as sheets are passion drenched
Caught up in an embered pace
of sliding skin and armed embrace
To quickly spend a warming taste
on lips that move to mine replaced
Strengthened legs and hips to glide
to dance the dance and dare the tide
no place is found in which to hide
as daylight breaks and waves collide
Coming to collision
by division of the soul
A fire that burns ignited
fanning flames out of control
Consumed in just a minute
light me up to burn this sin

Life In Seconds Guessing

Time cascading all around
a ticking shower fading
Never once is slowing down
Or stopping for debating
Myriad flasks of grays and blacks
are pouring endless color
drawing near from glass to peer
into a day that's duller
Seems as if an age has passed
yet time my friend is moving
raining down on hallowed ground
by you and what your doing
Kind to some and rough it comes
to others while they wait
a whispered sound does still resound
I fear its much too late
Still that shimmering sand that falls
its time and we cant change it
Perhaps the sands are shifting hands
to one who'll rearrange it

Salvation Deliberation

Answered call, reversing fall
to that worth overcoming,
tallied scores of opened doors
subtracting from the summing.
Store not up for moth and rust
do ever lie in wait,
time again to lonesome kin
be sure to consummate.
The very end to this begin
a world with new found ruling,
til man revealed and wrath is spilled
this wolf again is fooling.
Shepherd's sheep now bray and bleat
save us one and all,
still time for your salvation
fore the reaper comes to call.
